We fondly call him "Lolo Miong", Emilio F. Aguinaldo, first president of the Philippine Republic. Despite the intrigues created by historians on his being a hero, he has remained an inspiration to many of us, the fourth generation of the Aguinaldo clan and to a lot of other people.
